I started Working with Infiniti in November 2006. I got a paycheck of 7000 which I gave to my sis (Tumhari kasam) to purchase gift for mom and others in the family. i kept 1000 bucks from my salary which I spent on treating my friends with U KNOW What!! Very Happy

My first job was with TCS in Chennai from 29th December and for my first salary I only got the basic salary that is 6000.With that I had to pay rent,food etc as I was staying away from Home in a PG.I kept(with difficulty) 101 from my salary(it is still with me as I haven't gone home yet) which I will give to My MOM....to be given in a temple... Smile

Oops.

Guess its coz, I had already started earning during my MBA through SAP. So the first cheque didn't quite give me a kick. I rem'ber, I took my folks for dinner at Waterside, Hyd. but that was when I landed the job. My first pay cheque, in true terms, came in Sept 04. ...for the 4 SAP enrollments I had done...it was for 20K...and I still cant recall what I did with it Shocked

BUT I REMEMBER I GAVE MY GF A TREAT AT HOTEL PARK AFTER A FEW DAYS OF GETTING THE CHEQUE. Razz

Well my first paycheck was half months salary coz i joined mid of the month, bought some clothes, bought gifts for brother and family and ofcourse splurged the rest of it on things i cant even recall....in shot paisa hazam, tamasha khatam Shocked

p.s - need to start saving !

My 1st Job was wit Intelenet Gobal in Mumbai.
I gave a part of my 1st cheque to my loving Granny & remaining i kept.

My first job was in Sundaram Home Finance and the first month salary I gave to my mom and we all spent the same by buying clothes,travel etc.
