not really, wont land you a job...just an addition to your resume. It does give you an edge as it shows your interest towards a particular vertical. So always good to appear for the test, its so easy to crack anyways !

hi..
if you are interested in banks , then i would say give clear AMFI before the placements begins.
because to sell Mutual funds it is necessary to be AMFI certified. if the bank for which you are applying follows the process( which every private sector banks does) ,then it will prefer you if you are AMFI certified.
well, this is what my friends (working in banks ) and my seniors told me ..
