hey ppl,
hi i am Arun, doin my internship at Sony Entertainment Television India Ltd...
now abt my experience deyr is quite intriguing...
normally in a corporate world you'll have an environment that is very formal, but its exactly d different in dis case...you have ppl shouting across the work stations, they have a pretty chilled out attitude and dats what is required in media line....
it was really nice working deyr and would love to work in dis line again...and am sure who ever works will love it deyr...

hi ,all this is tirtha here
My SIP has been one of the most memorable experience of my life . I did my SIP in Tata Steel ,where they on my request alloted me their delhi office as my sip centre.
i worked under Mr. Bibek Mukherjee,CAM (Northern Zone) Flat products ,under him i understood that there can be no substitute of practical experience as he always told me that a true marketer should always be on the move .
My project was to develop the market expansion strategy of Tata Shaktee all over the northern zone of india. for that i had to travel all across uttar pradesh .places in punjab and so on , the company took care of all my travelling ,lodging expenses. I always had an attendant at my service so as to solve any problem we may face while travelling on the road, beleive me when i say that most of the time i was on the road meeting ,distributors ,dealers ,getting consumer feedback regarding this brand.
While undetaking such ahuge project i faced a lot of problems initially but once the thing got rolling there was no looking back ,i hve travelled to such places where there were sometimes no network , no light n all. But at the end of the day when i look back to my SIP period ,i have no regrets as i understood what it means to be a hard core marketer after this .

Hi....
I did my sip in TCS. I must say its the best organisation to work in. It will provide you ample opportunity to learn provided you want to...
They provide you adequate training for the project. They will guide and at the same time they will demand from you ( not money but work).
I was in eClear department, it provides solution for trading and settlement. At the end of 14 weeks, I was very clear about its working, functioning and different aspect of stock market (esp back-end).
There is nothing as such that your work will be restricted to your project. You will ask to do different jobs and it can be anything (minor as well as major). But one thing for sure, you will learn.
The best thing in TCS is that they wont treat you as an trainee or intern but as an employee. You will be part of every activities during that period (birthday, picnic, cultural etc). Work culture is very informal. But all this does not mean they wont be any pressure. You have to stick to deadlines, tasks etc
And ya... If you are in TCS, by the end of 14 weeks you will know everything about IT company.

Mine was in Relaince Capital AMC.
we were so disappointed during the internship time ...we felt that we must hv done something wrong ....and thus destiny is giving us this...@#$%%^
But as we are over with our project, we really feel dat..v hv learned alot. Work stress was heavy and people were not so friendly. Yes v were being provided with every facility but meeting target was there major concern. They were xpecting that we must match with the capabilities of RM.
We managed to bring around 12 cr for the company( as a group of 9 students) and out these 9 students only One student got A. Mr. Sanjay Patni our Mentor ensured that v dont cross the B grade( He awarded us with marks like 2,3,4,4 etc..... ) but fortunately he gave us a more valuable thing : exp. and Confidence.
Bottom line: someone wants to earn A forget RCAMC, wants a real corporate life and sea of exp: join RCAMC.
