I think the placements are brilliant, but one thing that baffles me is that the companies which are coming to the campuses are same at all the IBS centers!! and mostly these are finance compnies, what about marketing and HR??

well thts right Wink

our main set of recruiters are common across campuses.

well wht u see as finance companies actually offer mktng/sales profiles....very few offer finance. finance is mostly offered by kpo's like de shaw or evaluserve etc

hr - tcs n ma foi are there. bt very limited

we do lack in fmcg and retail sector recruiters. wonder why Crying or Very sad

what i have heard from few of my seniors is that gurgaon is good for marketing and kolkota and HYB are good for finance!!ofcourse HYB is our flagship institution thats why it recieves a wide range of companies from all the sectors.

do we have a student body to handle the placements or is it the ICFAI administration that looks after the placements!!

vikas goel.
