Hi,

As u must be aware ICICI bank is our major recruiter.

They are back this year with various profiles with ctc of 6.01L(to be revised in feb 2008)...

Last year they took 57 frm ibs-g and this year we expect atleast 75 Surprised

here at IBS-G 360 students applied out of which 260 were shortlisted for GD(held yest 18th sept) out of which 130 finally are shortlisted for Final interviews to be held on 3rd oct.

am luckily among one of the lucky 130 Evil or Very Mad

IN ICICI, my GD caselet was related to Bank going to launch a Signature credit card.
Charge for holding that card is Rs. 1500 p.a. we were asked to identify
1. Target segment.
2. Application channel
3. Communication mode

then at the end we were asked to identify 2 reasons for which bank should not launch the said card.... Evil or Very Mad

our discussion was not a Fish market..it was controlled and polished....

But ..u know...ICICI walas did a little mistake...they forgot to write my name in their GD selection list Sad

....they will lament for it Cool

hello everyone , i just want to know the topics of gd if it is a case let then which topics r they related too . Is there any separate gd for finance n marketing. What r the topics wjich are essential for preparation and also the pattern of interview question . Plz reply

Hi Saurabh, this is sunny from ibs-b. Regarding the gd topics, as u know it is only case discussion. The topics are like-- How will you promote a premium credit card for which the card holder has to pay 15k yearly?
How will you suggest a bank which has given loans to farmers who are not able to pay the loan back because of floods? things like that .... but only these 4-5 topics are asked in all the campuses. clear the gd, interview will be a cakewalk.

Congraculations to all those placed in ICICI Bank. I am one of the fortunate one. I have being hearing of revision of the package and incertainity of profile being offered ..Please share your information abt the same ....
