Hi Mohit,
As far english is concerned do get some good vocab book like word power made easy,comprehensive english of pearson publisher.have good grasp over vocab as it is main thing to crack.this will help u in cloze also.a great weightage is given to it. do have good grasp over tenses. as u preparing for cat u must be reading paragraphs dont worry that are easy but u should have speed as they are easy for all and to get hyderabad u should crack the nut fast.
quant is concerned have ur basics like age,time distance number geometry and all mixture n alligations some ratios.actually u do R S aggarwal quantative more than sufficent along with ur IMS BRMs.Level is not that tuff but competition is there so have speed.

| Hi guys im frm chennai applied IBSAT 2009-20011entrance test .. my doubt is in all over india 12000max applicants are applied to write ibsat exams.. so Ive to score 60% above in ibsat test after that only i will sent to hyd to attend another rounds OR All the candidates will sent to hyd to chk in all tests like GK, essay, MP and all .. im so confused guys reply me seniors

dear seniors
kindly help me wid regards to these issues as in i wanted to know that what it takes to enter in to icfai hyderabad as in wat do they look in to the candidate as such and next thing is that do they actually compromise on marks the ibsat exam if a candidate i very good at vocal skills and presentation stuff but was not able to do well in the exam and btw wat it takes to be in the top rankers and avail the scholarship ...
and btw how many freshers are currently there in the present hyderabad campus!

There were around 70-75% of freshers in our batch (2008). For the next year batch (2009) the figures have gone down slightly but not much. So you can assume close to 70% freshers. To be in the top rankers,all it takes is hard work and a bit of luck. Concentrate on the IBSAT first and then think about the upcoming events like interviews and presentations.
There are no hard and fast rules as to what they look forward to. Its basically your aptitude that matters the most. I was able to make it to Hyderabad campus without too many efforts. So take one thing at a time and everything should go just fine.
