i woulf like to know as dates are out for ibsat 2008 and the pattern has changed for exam.. so wat would be number of question we need to do in 2hrs time...

Hi

I am going to sit for the IBSAT this year and I have found this forum very useful................

Now I have some queries about this exam.... Please MOD and the seniors help me with these important informations..........

1. Is there any sectional cut off in this IBSAT exam?????

2. Or is there any negative marking?????

3. What is the Total mark and the Overall cut off (expected for this year or for 2007 IBSAT)

4. Which center would you prefer after Hyderabad???

5. For Hyd is work ex necessary????

2. Or is there any negative marking????? YES, REFER TO THE IBSAT BROUCHURE FOR DETAILS

3. What is the Total mark and the Overall cut off NO SUCH CUTOFFS DECLARED

4. Which center would you prefer after Hyderabad??? Gurgaon & Mumbai definately

5. For Hyd is work ex necessary???? NO, is not Necessary at all, but work ex always helps

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I think all these will help me a lot.

But unfortunately I have come to know that the students from ICFAI cant appear for any of the Govt. Job again we also cant do any Further Study or Fellowship from the institutes like IIM as ICFAI is not AICTE approved.

I am requesting to the seniors, students and MOD please help me with the appropriate information. As now I am really thinking not to sit for IBSAT for those reasons.

Please help me if possible with reference.

I have completed my B.Tech Computer Science in year 2008. I am an aspirant of MBA. I want to take up the HR specialization. So, decided to take IBSAT 2008 and study at IBS Hyderabad. Had been browsing for people who can really care for others, help others in need. And, rightly, I got you.. I have skimmed through your blog. Felt great.. The articles are good and the way you administer it is simply perfect.

Dear all, I would be grateful to you if you can spend some time reading this short mail. I have a few questions to you.

-> How is the placement record at IBS Hyderabad in the HR Stream?
-> The average package given on your website is 6.6 Lacs. Does that really reflect in reality..? How many students get placed usually?
-> Is ICFAI now a recognized university? Previously, I heard there was some clash regarding its integrity.

I would be thankful to you if I could see some early communication from your end
