Hi Abhishek,
The only suggestion which is common for everyone preparing for exams like IBSAT, CAT etc. is that get your basics clear. The IBSAT paper is quite easy but what is important is you make it to the centre of your choice and convenience.
Also, be prepared for Interview questions like why do you want to change the course of your studies from Economics to Computers.
No goal is too high so just go for it.
I hope you make it through.
Best of luck

Hi Prachee,
If you are able to study 5-6 hrs each day then its quite good keeping in mind that you are working too.
There is no G.K. section in IBSAT Paper. So no need to worry.
Download the synopsis of IBSAT paper using the link
http://www.ibsrocks.com/forum/synopsis-analysis-of-ibsat-2006-paper-pattern-t641.html
I hope it will help..
Best of Luck!!!

i just want to know the number of questions one should attempt keeping in mind the accuracy......
shall we spent more time on the section we are strong at........or attempt both the sections equally....
also i have queries regarding the admission thing..... i wanted to ask...if one has not performed exceptionally good in the written......do one lose a chance of getting the best IBS campus....or one could still cover up in the MPT/PI thing...??

1. the test is timed.so u r forced to attempt all sections equally. each section will be timed. so no scope od choosing ur priority or areas of strength
2. IBSAT is just one aspect of the admissions. there are other factors like grad degree n marks, work ex,interview etc and each factor has a weightage. Sn if u are left behind in IBSAT , u may miss the scholarship, but ur chances of making it to ur desired campus will still be intact. u can certainly makeup in other areas. like some of those having gr8 IBSAT scores may not perform well in interviews or personality right
