i got call from icfai n my interview is on 11th feb.
is there any relation between interview date,score and the colleges....will i get te opportunity to grab a seat in top college of icafai like hyderabad,mumbai,bangalore,etc.????as the people who'll be intreviwed before my dat of interview which is 11th feb will grab the seats in top colleges....so what are the chance for candidated like me to get the seat in top coleges of icfai?????
iam afraid when our time of interview will come till then only 2nd grade colleges will be left for us......
what is the presentation process n for how long does it continue?is presentation really scary one??
what is the interview like?what are the type of questions which are asked at the time of interview?how many people are present at the time of interview and presentation?????????

Buddy read the mods post. There is a separate allocation of seats in all the institutes on a day basis. And the call date has nothing to do with ur rank

according to last year procedure -

1. first of all u will have to go to hyderabad for interview and presentation.till around 15th of jan u will get a kit at ur given address.in that kit u will find information about ur interview date in interview letter, icfai university and their b-schools.and in that kit u will find SOME CURRENT TOPICS on which u will have to prepare a presentation on 1 topic according to ur choice.

2. then there in hyderabad u will have to present that topic on projector not on computer.when u will reach there in hyderabad on ur interview date....there will be around 600 to 700 aspirants.initially they will divide u in groups ....containing 10 member each and u will get ur exact interview time and presentation time.that presentation will be in that ur group and 1 invigilator will be there.....he or ur group member can ask question on ur presentation topic after the presentation. Finally u would appear for ur interviews (panel of 2-3 professors). lunch will be provided there to u people .

3. in the evening u will get results.....that in which campus u r selected and u will get that letter of admission......

4. now the question arises how will u get campus........for that u will have to fill a form .which u will get in that kit.in that form u will have to give ur preferences for icfai campuss..that where u want to be selected.atlest 6 preference u have to give.......according to those preferences ......ur score(tolal score....test+interview+presentation) will be checked whether u comes under those colleges scores....thus u will get ur campus..............

Being an computer engg, i could ensure you that ,they would'nt ask tough questions on core knowledge, you must go for only a layered knowledge on each subject.

Atleast u must sharpen 2-3 subject over which u have best command viz. DBMS,O.S,Software Engg.,
microprocessors.TRY TO GO THROUGH RECENT HAPPENINGS IN COMP. H/W & SOFTWARE MARKET(windows vista,firewalls,anti-viruses etc very common knowledge only).

rankings and on tat basis interview call is still very tricky?? i hav my doubts on it tat do d ppl appearing ;ate 4 d intv wil b able to get top campuses or not..i av my doubts on tat...can ne1 tell me regardin tat wid a assurity??
