My son has been selected for IBS Ahmedabad campus for 2008-2010 session.How good is it?Is it good from placement point of view?In the prospectus I find the strength of this campus was 120.The average salary of 2008 was 5.30lacs per annum.I am interested in knowing the quality of faculty of this campus and its reputation from placement point of view.Will any senior student enlighten me on this point?What is the quality of hostel accommodation?How far is it from the campus of the institute?

am lookin 4 other batchmates who also got ahmedabad campus ( 2008- 2010 ) ........
nd if n e one of you out there has some infomation regardings placements at ICFAI ahmd nd the faculty
pls do let me knw ..... nd y is this campus so less talked about .....

Hi,
I am your senior from IBS A 09 Batch. Well to tell you frankly dont dream of any luxurious lush green garden campus. It is a six floor building called IBS A Towers. The classes are just like it should be in MBA. Individual chairs for each student. 4 to 5 ACs in each class. Projector in every classroom. But remember one thing you are here to study not enjoy luxuries. So all that you need will be there. Faculty are very cooperative you can challenge their knowledge. If you are a marketing guy this can be the best place for you as the 3 Faculties of marketing will grill you till you get shaped. You just cant beat them. Finance faculties are a bit boring but mind well they carry experience of World's Best Stock Exchanges like London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. Overall a nice place to be.
