ICFAI Business School (IBS) Student Community

hello everyone,
i am samarpita,from icfai gurgaon 2007-2009 batch,I went through all the posts and i just wanted to put across two things:
1.This is to all my peers,I believe instead of just jumping into the "I want to be the campus representative" mode why dont we all make our presence felt in the community first by posting adequately,coming up with some concrete improvisation methodology which would not just let the campus as well as the icfai brand name perpetuate and grow but would also make us proud of the fact in the future that we were a part of icfai.
I believe the whole thought process behind the genesis of this community was not about highlighting indivuals/campus representatives but how we,the students can make significant contributions individualy to help icfai grow as one whole family.

2.This is to my seniors and the mentors of this community,we need some time to make our presence felt both in the community and interms of being value added.Especially for people like me and others who have come from different city/towns etc we need our laptops and internet access to actually provide active participation.So,all i would like to request is to wait till the time we are properly armorised with both our ideas as well as out personalised internet (unlike the one provided by cc)

hi samarpita,

I agree with your point of view but in a company only one become a manager though the employee and employer equal partner in company like here also one will become CR after some time and ofcourse our presence make a create difference. It is not to highlight to individual person but its a huge responsibility towards whole IBS community.

But i want to put some point across our seniours.
please choose a person who capable to take this responsibilty.
moreover make some criteria for choosing CR like work experiance,knowledge,leadership quality etc... so we can get responsible CR.

Good to see such matured juniors , gives us even more courage to carry on the hard work

We absolutely agree and share same views - a CR would not be a designation as such , and ofcourse we would have close look at members who are willing to takeup the responsibility.

Thats why we have postponed any such appointments to July end or even later - lets first observe and get a track track record of applicants......

i m confident all of us are CR's in our own capacity , and brand ambassodors too Smile

Ibs Rocks Posters - Campus Volunteers?
We are planning to come out with posters of our forum , around 20-25 of them at key locations in and around the campus would do the trick. any campus volunteers? this needs to be done in all the 21 IBS Campuses. You will get the posters mailed to you if u volunteer for this good work Smile

Since I am aware of the vision of IBSROCKS I think I can represent it in the best way at Kolkata campus also by being a Sapphire Achiever in SAP and by belonging to the 2008 batch. Smile
