so precission teconet came for placements.................. with a package of 5 lacks.........

took finally 6 students.........

4 finance guys for business analysts post
2 marketing guys for slaes post.........

so now the total has gone to 48........

another day of placement went..............
company came was IBEXI solutions Pvt ltd.. with a package of 4.62 lakhs ( 33,000 in hand)

total number of students sat--- 199
after resume selection, apti, gd--- 27

1st of interview--27( was in this group.... but couldn't get it in the final 7 as it was not my day today)
2nd round of interview--- 7
final letter ---- 2
so the total now goes upto 50

so at the end the final results of aspire systems came........... and no body is selected......... bad luck for us............ 9 round of interviews were there..............

today citibank came and now results will come out...........so will update it later.........

another day of placement went...........

DEUSTHE bank came and took 2 maketing guys for thier sales profile and loctaion as chennai........

total student sat for this company were 45.......

total student selected for interview were 10-15

final offer given to ---- 2

so now the total has gone to 52

so all the best for guys who r yet to be placed like me who needs best of luck badly..............

Friends, we allmost are in the middle phase of the placement season,, this time round tables have turned upside down, becoz of the global financial crisis coupled with the liquidity crisis, we are facing a situation in which corporates have been more stringent in their recruitment policies and so are picking less candidates. However i know each one of us ( including me) are very anxious about placements , what i will like to tell all of u is that be more open to offers, see, if times are bad and markets are not running smoothly, we cannt do much about it..what we can do...is to grab every single opportunity that is coming in our way...be more open to offers...priority at this point of time is to start a career...than once we have something to cash upon...we can easily do stuffs in accordance to our likings...the recent IIP data has given encouraging facts abt a 4.8% industrial growth as compared to 1.8% the previous month...so i sincerely do hope good times will be back soon...lets have discussions, debates, issues, whatever u like to talk , ask or convey regarding anything in this thread...feel free to express your views ....n do keep trying....abs4u alwayz Smile
