So where does IBS stand? Apart from course curriculam , how does it fair in front of other b schools , be it B plan events , case studies or best manager competitions. How would you rate the faculty and infrastructure? how would you rate the vision of the administration?

rating doesn't mean...that the coll is good.......

It depends how we take it as.....About IBS.....after joinin this yr IBS Bangalore....it feels as if we r really gettin a lot of practical learning,,,,,,the quality of our management fest MAnthan shows that......so i would just say All the IBS campuses and their student are equally good....IBS ROCKS!!!!

Let's see-

The Course Curriculum - International Standard and format. Globalisation is the era!!!

The Project based study - Best in Practice to learn from and it depends on how serious u r abt the project.

The Activities - Management Events - which give chances to us to meet some of the best in industry. and ofcourse in house events too to enjoy. collg fests and much more. Mumbai includes a lot of activities in Parivartan Club, Book Club, Manthan the magazine, the Procenium film club, Prakruti the nature club and much more.

Placements - Well a lot can be debated and huge chunks of data can be given abt the Co.s and the packages and etc. etc. but the true question is -
do you know the Industry well to ask for your deserved Companies??? Think abt it!!!

Most say that the final thing that matters is the placements. Well if that's the case then i don't think that the candidate has done much to see the corporate business environment!!!!
Other than placement the 2nd most important thing is your learning.......
ya ya ya all the crap....... but truly, nothing can teach you a better corporate life than experience and IBS.

IBS mumbai has given me a good corporate business environment. with my project team and the faculty and the deadlines, everything good.

But Yes i would like to question one thing......the evaluations and the management. i think it's what makes the B-School most ranked and appreciated among the students. everything else is upon the students to revolutionarise.

( i hope i got that right)!!!!!

even students at icfai national college gets the same study material what we get, also they get an acer laptop with same config as what 0709 batch got...aslo the fees they pay is 1.80 lacs..all students get scholarship based on ug and school marks...i have got 10 of my freinds studying at icfai national clg....also these guys do have some iim faculties... some one as to take up this issue...
