Dear all members of IBS Rocks,

Please follow these rules while posting:

- All words must be completed to the fullest and chat language is strictly prohibited. This would help you in the future when you actually type a report and also would make the forum look "truly professional".

- A proper formatting of the post is essential which makes the post readable and attractive.

- before starting any topic - first search the forum for any similar thread - dont start topics just for the sake of it

- topics should be written in such a way - that the topic itself says all what the thread is about - no vague topics please !

- More than mere thanking for the post, please contribute towards it as this would reduce the unwanted clutter and would also increase the number of quality and meaningful posts!

- A special suggestion to the juniors: Please review your post before posting it, with proper formatting for the initial stages as frequent corrections of the mistakes would give a better impression to the seniors. Your impression is extremely important as it would show you as serious and a manager willing to learn. Thats when the alumini will really help you.

It would be really appreciable if all the members could follow these rules strictly to make the forum's road to "QUALITY" easier.

General Rules:

(1) We will not allow rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks , Our decision is final in these matters.
(2) Do not start or Duplicate Meaningless threads.
(3) Avoid Posting One Liner Posts.
(4) Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
(5) Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.
(6) Do Not Post Porn or adult content. This also includes sites promoting activities such as drug abuse, gambling and links to sites containing such content.
(7) Each member is allowed only one login account. Do not make multiple accounts.
( We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
(9) We reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.
(10) We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise any products or services. Explicit advertising in signature is also prohibited.
(11) No more than 2 links per signature
(12) DO NOT post the same topic in multiple forums. If you are unsure of which forum a thread should go under, just state that in your post, and a moderator will move the thread to the correct forum. Multiple posts are unnecessary and will be deleted.
(13) Please make sure that you are posting for the good of the community, not just for the sake of self-promotion
(14) Discussion on Topics which are Sensitive , Religious , Political , Criminal not allowed.
(15) Don't post personal Contact info on the forum. Use PM facility for the same.
(16) Do not post Copyrighted Material.
(17) We reserve the right to edit or delete any posts we consider to be 'spam'. If we find that you are spamming our community, you will be warned by a Moderator or Site Administrator , and it may lead to the deletion of your posts and/or the removal of your account.


Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

This thread is a must read for all.

Chat language is a BIG NO NO and posts which consist of the chat language would be duly not considered and would be locked.

It is a must to maintain "Quality" keeping in mind this is a formal public forum visited by our alumni and students. Moreover we as MBA's should give a professional image to a visitor
