this is abhishek shah from 2008 batch and my experiences at IBS Gurgaon have been fascinating in terms of the huge number of batchmates i got to interact with.

I did as planned , and organised various campus activities, participate in various b school contests and went to Convergys for allu paratha almost evry night

I was still lucky to manage a decent cgpa and i realy look back and feel ill always cherish the moments @ IBS Gurgaon

Made new friends,lost some of them - but its a vicious cycle and am sure at end of the day i would have more than lesser !

hi All!

hey Abhishek...nice topic to discuss...i guess lot of people would like to pour views here...coz last year has been quiet an experience fer all of us...

I guess last year is one the most unforgettable 1 for me....right from the begining,each day had something new...
looking out for PGs, being ragged by seniors, following the dress code, all IBS-G parties....from freshers to Blitzkrieg...life's been quiet happening last year...

most of my memories are attatched to my PG Friends..who turned out to be my closest friends

....staying in college till late at the time of the fest...going to convergys late at night...night outs wid frens...preparing the presentations ....struggling wid the syllabus till late night at the time of exams coz it used to b the 1st time when we used to open the books...and lot more have tought me a lot...and is helping me become a Maverick..

the 1st yr has been a platform fer the 2nd 1...all the lessons learnt n experiences gained in 1st yr are gonna help me in searching the right route for my career...

well i dnt know from where should i start.....because there is so much to talk n share.... lets start from begigning... well wen i came to know that i have got gurgaon as my centre i was disappointed..i wanted hydrabad.. but one year down the line i think i was wrong... life in icfai gurgaon rocks..

Everyone in icfai gurgaon is class apart.. whether they are the security guards or our very own teachers... everyone with whom i have met has been fabulas to me....coming to my experience, well its something i will cherish throughout my life..

Well i was in section A of IbS gurgaon.. N was one of the seven students who always use to sit on the last bench... n rest is history..Everyone did their best to seperate us...but the result is wat we all know..we guys still togther.. i din spare ne teacher(PLZ dnt folloe me).. i always had an answer ready for neone.. my frnds kept a specific name for me(cant be disclosed)..we always use to crack jokes n ya have fun.

i ges 2nd sem was the sem wen we all came out of our shell.. Believe me their was real fun.. I still remeber How we use to sit one day before our presentation n use to complete it....my god....
One needs to have lots of guts.... N v had

N yes how can one forget the parties in our college.. all my dear juniors, u just need to be patient..THeir will be enough ocassions given to you, where u can shake ur boogie..

Just wana say that if u have entered in a b scl, that doesnt mean u just have to study only.. their are lots of other things to do..n in the end what matters is ur personality and practicality and not just the theoritical knowledge..In section A i was the most notorious guy.. i was in the bad books of every teacher.. but u c am a scholarship holder(both sem)..the main reason of sharing all dese things is that MBA is not just studying.. its more than that..

In the end jus wanna say that i m greateful to god that once in my life time he has given me the oppurtunity to be live with such a nice peers n superiors.....

hope all of us are back from our short stint with realtime corporate work life exposure....so how does it feel coming back to the campus? nostalgic?

for me life @ Ibs-Gurgaon is pretty tough right now, thanks to the idea of taking up a flat ! everything seems to be in a real mess above all no internet service provider has network around the area where our flat is located

Still all of it is a real experience , which would hone our stress managment and crisis management skills ! Hopefully......

Dear Freinds ,
Feeling nostalgic , 3011 is the first things comes in my mind, I think one of the memorable Part In My MBA .

With an attitude to utilise the course to the fullest i started my journey. Ya people will tell you that you are not smart , but that's the trade-off you need to do between learnings and marks. In the course i lost one of my precious Love. It was challenging at times. Be Brave and just take evrything on your stride. And Keep walking ,simple but very effective. Learnt a lot.

I learnt accounts - back bone of business , very true said by our faculty , its the tool whic evry one need to understand.

I made best of my freinds right from Subir to Somya. My rommie for first two sem was and an is very Influential person in life. Ya at some points our idea did not match but we respected each other idea's. MBA's is all about how much you want to learn from the course ,not all in books.

congrats for coming up wid such a cool idea of having a forum of our own... gr8 work guys...

as far as my time at IBSG is concerned... it was awesum... actually more than that... to b very frank... no1 can ever put it in words... despite being such a huge batch.. we wer alll very close.. knew each other...

nd yeah.. bout doz days!!! spending whole days in the canteen... doing insane things in the labs... (u mite recall)... bunking classes...tadoin juniors.. hehehe... sleepless nites... nd that 4th sem xams, didnt study even a single word... hahahaha...those proxy calls... the chai at tapri... the samosas wid chatni... discounted food at purani dilli courtesy ur id card... food at manpasand... paranthas at convergys... late nite gate crashing PGs... doing insane things everywher...

nd yeah those jamming sessions of our very own VELLABOYS... man i miss those days a lottttttttttt...

Juniors: yaar placements ho jaengi... no tension at all.. jab hamari ho gayi toh u guys dun need to wry... bas njoy this last year.. u ll surely miss it... srsly i mean it... dun even miss a single oppurtunity to njoy it...

IBSG ROCKS... it shapes ur life... swear
