Hi All!
I'm an Engineer graduate in Electronics&Commn, then stepped into BPO industry and have a 4+ yrs of exp in technical /cust. support roles from a reputed MNC. Currently, working for a newly opened pharmaceutical concern as a Sr. Customer support exe(Voice operation), more of like a forefront for the pilot batch. Interested in leadership roles, IT research, organising aspiring teams and entreprenerial management areas.
Though i'm a new entrant to Management studies and know nothing about strategies involved in it, I'd like to do 1-Yr EMBA prgm to upgrade myself to meet industry demands. Heard dat 1-Yr EMBA will add value to my profile. As i'm working inorder to meet my commitments and due to other reasons, I'd not be able to go for regular, full time course. Also, many blogs suggest dat doing a part time/correspondence course will not do any good.
Would like to know the following info:
- Ur valuable suggestion about my interests to step into MBA
- Should i necessarily opt for only regular, full time to do any MBA prgm in India
- If its part time, can i opt for LIBA, chennai for the best results to explore more
- Which would be the best subject to choose from- HR or Marketing
- How best this will suit my profile
- What are the areas i'd groom myself to face IT/ITES industry challenges
- Does 1 yr EMBA have any Entrance exam
- Complete fee structure
Keep sharing knowledge!
Cheers,
Zuby.

Hi Zuby,
Good to see your enthusiasm, education always counts !
Its not that part time mba wont help - just that it wont get you campus jobs - so if u are already working, it can help you get a raise
With a full time MBA you can actually shift sectors - lot of doors open.
So first ask yourself - if you can afford to takes an year's break and go for fulltime MBA - nothing like it. If not, even part time MBA would do - but not get you the instant benefits associated with a full time course.
Liba is pretty decent - check out ISB Hydbd, Great Lakes 1 yr MBA, even Icfai Executive MBA
